Hey guys. This is this saturday, may 12. It is free, my band is headlining, we have new merch, and it’s at the tribal cafe (named one of LA Zinefest’s top coffee shops)
I would really love to see some new and familiar faces. If you can’t make it, i’d really appreciate a reblog! Starts at 7:00 pm!
the first not punk sessions video and audio are up!
all bands featured on not punk sessions are recorded and filmed live at the dial warehouse, in murrieta california. we record bands or artists weekly/bi-weekly, 5 songs each, and release sessions every other saturday.
below, the tracks from our session with northAmericans:
Intermittent reminiscence — slow with encircling beauty — Big Sir’s performance at LA’s Amoeba Records shaded an aura of condition and flowing nostalgia. Lisa Papineau and Juan Alderete’s stunning performance exalted not just perfection, but perception of experience and heart — one that that so few performers can grasp.
The tight stream of kindred feelings knit together in bittersweet tangles, as if to travel across memory bled underneath years of tears and strengthened bonds. A true celebration of converging genres and ideas, Big Sir continues their performances across Europe this spring.
